THE SCIENCE

Heat Treatment

Our heat treatment procedure is a specialized process that requires highly trained professionals and the proper equipment to eliminate bed bugs. Our equipment is designed to evenly distribute high temperatures into cracks and crevices where bed bugs hide. During heat treatment temperatures inside the treated space will rise between 135 °F and 145 °F. Depending on the size of the infestation and other key factors, it will take 6 to 12 hours to heat up an area. Bed bugs die when temperatures reach 120 °F for 20 minutes, with an additional 70 minutes required to eliminate eggs, which are a bit more resilient.
